Tarot carries the wisdom of others through the ages, but is also a way of tapping into your own intuition in the present moment.
A reading with me is a creative conversation about your decisions and challenges, bringing new perspectives and remembering what’s important to you. Not about strange men appearing in your future, but about you showing up in your own life, alive and awake, right now.
Some of us are crying out for ways to re-connect to our power, our humanity, our natural cycles and our inner knowing.

Tarot as a wisdom tradition
Tarot has been around since at least the 15th century. If these curious images and their associations have survived so long, something about them has clearly resonated through generations.
Tarot, like many other intuitive traditions, is sometimes dismissed as ‘New Age’ or ‘woo-woo’. But what if the symbols passed down for so many years (usually by women and LGBTQ+/marginalised folks) have something important to tell us about the experience of being human?
(Spoiler, they do).
Tarot is a set of 78 cards, made up of the minor arcana (4 suits of 14) and major arcana (22 archetypes). Decks vary according to the artist - some get creative with names for the suits, or interpret individual cards a little differently - but if it’s called ‘Tarot’ (rather than ‘Oracle’ cards, which can be any number and any design) then it is built on a tradition spanning back centuries.
Each card shines a light on a piece of wisdom which has been carried on an undercurrent of resistance, surviving the witch trials* and side-stepping the patriarchy to make it into your 21st century hands. Like all the best bits of advice, each one is empowering and applicable to a range of situations.
*allow me a bit of artistic license - I bet some of the ordinary women & non-binary folks persecuted in the witch trials dabbled in tarot!

Tarot as a way back to your intuition
I don’t predict specifics or provide concrete answers.
When we read together, I’ll ask you for your insights as well as sharing my own sense of things and knowledge of the cards. That’s partly because collaborating is how I naturally work, but also because tarot can speak so powerfully and directly to your personal experience without me getting in the way. If something really ‘lands’ for you when you see a card, I’ll leave space for us to reflect on that together (that’s part of why my readings are a little longer than some others out there).
I will always have plenty to intuit & share, but nothing I say in a reading should ever over-ride what feels good & true in your own bones.

More than just a quick card pull, this is my sumptuous standard offer - an opportunity to silence your screens for a generous hour and get to the heart of the matter. Ask one or more specific questions, or explore broader themes for the year/season/cycle ahead. A compassionate space to dive into the juicy stuff of life, with a reader who gets you.

TEASER READINGS (written or pre-recorded)
Tarot or not tarot?
Not sure? Why not dip your toe in with a written/pre-recorded teaser reading?
Teasers are ‘cold’ readings, meaning you get my quickfire interpretation of a smaller number of cards pulled especially for you but without any discussion of your current life situation. Great as an experiment for the cautiously curious, a toe in the water for the chronically time-pressed. Imagine it as a lucky dip from the universe.
